Tencent games is looking all set to bring about what they have dubbed as a “new era” for which is possibly the most famous mobile phone game in history, we are of course referring to Player Unknown Battle Grounds, commonly known as PUBG. The new game is set to receive PUBG Mobile 1.0 update which is scheduled for the 8th of September. This news was announced by PUBG developers on Facebook and Twitter and it has sent chills down the spines of any PUBG enthusiasts out there.
According to the developers, they claim that PUBG Mobile will see a complete overhaul which will offer users “the most authentic and immersive experience on mobile.” The PUBG Mobile 1.0 update, according to the announcement, will bring a wide variety of improvements and changes which include; new tech, new UX, new gameplay features, improvements to the characters, environments both in-game and lobby, and gunfights, to give users an ultimate experience for gaming. According to sources, the developer team ha worked on particles, smoke muzzle flashes, air blasts, and scope interaction to give users an amazing and realistic experience. In addition, actions like parachuting, throwing, and sprinting have also been optimized as well.

As far as the environment is concerned, the models, texture quality, and lighting systems have all seen an improvement to give users a much more realistic sense of the sky, water, and vegetation. Moreover, the UI and UX of the game have also been enhanced a bit to make it more convenient and efficient for the final user. The new updated game will feature improved interactions, visuals, motions, and sound effects among many other things. Probably the highlight improvement would be that the gameplay experience for middle and low-end hardware has been improved. As per the new numbers given to us, the new upgrade will provide a 30 percent improvement to FPS, and up to 76 percent reduction in lag. In addition, developers have also announced that the new Erangel 2.0 map will be available to users on 8th September as well.
