So it was revealed earlier in the week, that 3 major Chinese telecom providers have announced the commercial availability of 5G, in addition to publicizing their voice and data plans. With that in mind, let’s put our center of focus on the 5G compatible smartphones, it is worth noting that a total of 11 models have already been released in the country and several others are on their way. In addition to these 11 handsets, 5 are made by Huawei alone while the rest are made by 5 other manufacturers, which include the likes of Xiaomi, ZTE, Vivo, OPPO and Samsung. Moreover, when it comes to 5G smartphones, Huawei is already ahead of the competition but it does not want to lose the pace just yet. Rumor: Honor may soon launch three 5G ready phones.
As per a spotted list of smartphones which is are believed to be the company’s internal documents, it is believed that, Huawei is about to launch three more 5G smartphones which will come in the portfolio of their sub-brand Honor, which include the Honor v30 5G, Honor V30 Pro 5G and the Honor Magic 3 5G. It should be noted that the smartphones in this list that have already been launched are offered with both 5G and 4G compatibility which include the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro. In contrast, the list lacks 4G variants of three previously mentioned Honor branded smartphones which are supposed to launch in the coming months.
It is seemingly evident that Huawei might not even be bothered to launch 4G variants of these mobile phone devices. Now while we may already have sufficient details about the V30 and V30 Pro, the Honor Magic 3 has appeared for the first time. As per the name, the phone is all set to be the successor of the Honor Magic 2 which released in 2018 that sported a sliding display. So far details regarding the Honor Magic 3’s specifications are still not provided however, similar to the predecessor, it is bound to be a flagship smartphone.
Hence, one can assume that the upcoming device will be equipped with the latest and greatest chipset from the company which is Kirin 990. Staple to high-end devices, it is destined to have features like a high screen-to-body ratio display, support for fast charging and worthy camera sensors.
