Samsung had previously made a mockery out of Apple’s decision of ditching the headphone jack, but now it has followed the same path and one might question Samsung’s integrity when it comes to sticking to its choices.

Initially, there had been quite a few rumors that Samsung would be ditching the headphone jack with the Note 10, but considering its response to when Apple removed it, made the rumor difficult to believe but now that it has finally done, we demand an explanation, and Samsung’s willing to give it.

According to Samsung, Removing the headphone jack allows for upto 100MAH more battery and better haptic feedback. However, considering Samsung’s original feedback engine, it is a pretty strong one and I don’t think it needs tuning to get even better when it would be costing me a headphone jack. Plus, the extra 100MAh should not have impacted the battery that positively to justify the fact that the headphone jack had to be removed from the device in order to accommodate the extra 100 MAH.

Among other things, the omission of the SD Card slot also is a big loss for consumers who have always thought of the Note series as the do everything phone. This is why the opinion of the people with regards to the Note 10 is divided as many consider the compromises made to be unnecessary and at this price point, there should be no compromises. With phones getting incredibly competitive and Samsung having long left the price range of previous flagships have given space for other smartphone companies to provide same or better specs at half the price which might be a big let down for the flagship series by Samsung. But still, the brand awareness is so high that Note 10 would still be able to sell in massive numbers!
