Samsung launches the Galaxy Tab S4 and tab A ahead of Galaxy Note 9 launch. In order to give tough time to Apple’s iPads, Samsung today launched the Galaxy Tab S4 along with an affordable Galaxy Tab A. Not to know, the company is also all set to launch the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 on 8 August in New York.

The two devices were launched in New York ahead of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 launch. So, let’s get dive into the detail of recently released tabs by the Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S4

The much anticipated Galaxy Tab S4 was launched along with the S Pen. The Android-powered device comes with 4 GB of RAM.

It has two storage variants:

  • 64 GB
  • 256 GB

However, you can increase the storage up to 400 GB using a microSD card.

Price

As per the details of report by The Verge, the 64 GB storage variant is priced at $650 and the 256 GB storage variant will cost you $750.

It features a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 16:10 screen ratio and sports thin bezels.  Powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC the device got a massive 7,300 mAh battery.

The best feature of this tab is the DeX technology. Well, this technology let tablet users to switch from Android interface to a desktop-like experience. The same technology is available in the Galaxy S9/S9 Plus and S8/S8 Plus as well.

In the meantime, the tab features a 13 MP Autofocus primary camera with an 8 MP front-facing camera.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A

It is the second tab launched today along with S4 tab. It features a 10.5-inch WUXGA display with 16:10 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC.

The Android-powered device features 3GB of RAM along with 32 GB internal storage.  You can expand it up to 400 GB using a microSD card.

On the other hand it has an 8 MP Autofocus primary camera with 5 MP front-facing camera. Just like its elder sibling the A2 also packs a 7,300 mAh battery.

Both the Galaxy Tab S4 and the Galaxy Tab A run Android 8.1.
