The nougat update is just on the horizon for Samsung galaxy s7, and s7 edge users, however, this is not the only update that is hitting the s7. A new update has come to light for the galaxy s7 active smartphone in the United States. The update does not appear to be very heavy, with it just being available for around 45 MB. The update carries the build number of MMB29M.G891AUCS2APL1 and this update is being rolled out by the company that exclusively sells the smartphone – AT&T.

The update is mainly focused on better security, hence it includes the security update which brings along android security fixes for December. However, there is also some bad news for some users, as for those people still waiting for the Nougat update, the update would still be based upon the Android Marshmallow.

December security update starts hitting Samsung Galaxy s7 active

The nougat update will soon be available for both the Samsung galaxy s7 and s7 edge. Though no one is quite sure when the update exactly will be made available, it will be very soon according to experts. The update will not only improve the speed and performance, but will also improve things such as the camera apps, and new TouchWiz UI and many new features will be available.
