Widespread rainfall and intense snowfall in the mountainous regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have caused flooding on roads and significant damage to infrastructure. Rescue operations are underway to assist those trapped under debris. According to reports in local media, at least six individuals have lost their lives, and several others have been injured due to the heavy precipitation in the provincial capital Peshawar and various parts of KP.
Tragic incidents occurred in different areas, including Peshawar and Lower Kohistan district. In Badaber town of Peshawar, a young child died as a result of a roof collapse. Additionally, in the Tajabad neighborhood of Board Bazaar, four members of a family lost their lives when the roof of their house collapsed. Despite efforts to rush them to medical facilities, they could not be saved.

Furthermore, several individuals sustained injuries on the Karakoram Highway (KKH) near Kohistan after heavy rain caused a vehicle to plunge into a ravine. The continuous heavy rainfall over the past two days has rendered the Karakoram Highway impassable from Lower to Upper Kohistan.
Numerous hilly areas, including Kaghan Valley, Shogran, Konsh Valley, Siran Valley in Mansehra, Kandia Valley, Spat Valley in Kohistan, and Nathiagali, have experienced heavy snowfall. Moreover, Swat, Shangla, and other regions have also witnessed snowfall, with Malam Jabba being particularly affected by heavy snow accumulation.
