Smaller than a thumb and lighter than a coin Zanco tiny t1 is smallest phone in the world. I remember a silver coloured tiny mobile phone, though not with any kind of internet usage capabilities, the phone was almost 4 inches long thar was enough for my friend to call any one she wants (almost 5 years ago). Don’t know the company to which that very tiny mobile phone belonged,  but it was fun to see her calling her dad when I get that mobile not more than a fake product.

Until the time of writing this story, I thought that mobile phone to be the world’s smallest mobile phone, but it was not. As we have new one from Zanco.

Yes, claiming to be the ‘world’s smallest mobile phone’, the Zanco Tiny T1 quite recently has been listed on a Kickstarter campaign. The campaign has achieved $29,524 (roughly Rs.18.9200,000) of its $33,480 (roughly Rs. 21.4500,000) goal. The bottom of the tiny t1 features a mic and a loudspeaker.

Featuring a bottom of mic and loudspeaker, the Zanco tiny t1 is a feature phone that appears to come from an era before the trend of phablets & big-screen smartphones, when only calling and texting were the primary features in a mobile phone.

This phone is not only smaller than a thumb even lighter than a coin. Zanco has branded the tiny t1 as a ‘talk and text mobile phone’ having an alphanumeric keyboard.

This phone with 13 grams of weight has dimensions of 46.7x21x12mm.

The phone supports a single Nano SIM and is able to store up to 300 contacts in the phonebook.

With a capacity of storing up to 50 SMS messages this mobile can save the last 50 incoming/ outgoing numbers in the call log, as the phone has 32MB of storage.

Powering the Zanco tiny t1 is a MediaTek MTK6261D motherboard & 32MB of RAM and the phone sports a 0.49-inch OLED (32×64 pixels) display & runs on a 200mAh battery.

The tiny t1 also has connectivity options like 2G, Bluetooth, & Micro-USB. It is a quad-band phone and will be available in two 2G band frequencies – 850/1900 & 900/1800; but there is no support for 3G or 4G frequencies and no Internet access.

Currently, the phone is running a  Super Early Bird offer pricing the tiny t1 mobile phone at about EUR 30 (Rs. 2,280). The phone would start shipping in May 2018.
