The OTT platform has been a major player in the entertainment sector since the start of the covid pandemic. The OTT platform has helped many talented actresses and actors to revive their careers. Actress Sonali Bendre, who worked in films such as Hum Saath-Saath Hain and Diljale, Sarfarosh and English Babu Desi Mem among others, has made a big statement about Bollywood.
Sonali stated that OTT was the reason she had two innings in her career. Sonali also shared her opinion on why a Bollywood mindset won’t work long-term. Amir Khan, her Sarfarosh actor, also spoke out.

Sonali, when asked about Aamir Khan’s love for work, said that she wanted to be working right now. It’s so enjoyable. I am no longer an accidental actor. This is what I want to do. If I fail to do it correctly, I have no excuse. Sarfarosh was a great experience for me. Sarfarosh was my last chance to learn from Aamir.
She was able to get her second inning thanks to the OTT platform. This ‘chalta Hai (casually saying it is okay) attitude can’t last any longer and I believe that’s one of the best things that has ever happened to our industry.
Sonali Bendre, a cancer survivor, spoke out about the same. She said, “Having a scar and losing my hair” helped her to appreciate that “beauty can never be perfect.”
