So it has been reported that one major company known as Sony is  recalling certain faulty sets of a power bank which were sold in Mainland, China. Furthermore, the mega Japanese company released a statement on there website where they requested all of the  owners of the affected power banks to send them in and get a free replacement in the process. The affected power bank has been revealed to be, the Sony CP-V10B (black only).

The following is the model number and the production dates of the affected power banks!
- November 2017: 5082304 ~ 5083813
- May 2018: 5172081, 5172090, 5176981 ~ 5177482
- June 2018: 5199403 ~ 5201171
- August 2018: 5228490 ~ 5228750
Now if your power bank falls under the above mentioned criteria to identify the affected product, you can simply take it to a Sony service station and they will replace the power bank with a new one!Furthermore, in May of 2018, the Shenzhen Consumer Council, China Consumers Association, and the Futian District Consumer Council set up the Shenzhen Quality Consumption Research Institute which aimed to carry out a sort of  comparison test on different mobile power bank devices..
Sony have recalled 4000 power banks in China and have promised to provide free replacements
In turn when the comparison tests came out and sent to Sony in July showed that the Sony power banks did not meet the fire rating requirements and hence came about the need to recall the power banks which did not meet the necessary guidelines or regulations.Moreoverit is believed that Sony sent representatives to the affectedcountry of China to release a formal apology regarding the matter and have today issued a recall. It has been revealed that the Shenzhen Consumer Council is believed to have prompted Samsung and IKEA to also recall such products in the past as well .
