MediaTek’s Dimensity 8100 SoC was featured in Vivo S15 Pro smartphone which was announced in May of this year. Despite the fact that it has only been 7 months since Vivo launched the S16 Pro, the company has already announced its successor. The phone has appeared in detailed early renders thanks to the popular OnLeaks.
In order to accommodate the Vivo S16 Pro’s selfie camera, the top center of the device will be cut out to accommodate a punch hole in order to house the curved display. It has been reported that the screen will be AMOLED, but it has not been confirmed what the screen size will be and what the refresh rate will be. As far as the top and bottom bezels are concerned, they are almost invisible.
On the right side you will find the volume rocker and power button combination, while on the bottom you will find a speaker grille, a microphone, and a USB C port. At the top of the device you will find a secondary microphone that will be used for noise cancellation

It seems that the power button does not have the ability to detect fingerprints, so it is highly likely that the power button will be placed beneath the screen. The optical sensor will be used since it is not a flagship series, so it will not be an ultrasonic unit, but an optical sensor instead.
The official teaser campaign will likely kick off within a few weeks, but there is still no word on a launch date as of right now. Please stay tuned for updates as they become available.
