Who does not love a big old box of Pizza, not many would stand against that claim and while many enjoy this beautiful dish at parties or when you have people over, aloy of the times you are left with leftover Pizza which you can reheat and eat the next morning or whenever you please. Reheated pizza isn’t honestly that bad, but more often than not, when you heat it in the microwave, the pizza comes out soggy with an extra chewy crust and dried-out tomato sauce.
It’s not your fault though, it only because we’ve been heating it up wrong this whole time! If you’re like the average pizza reheater, you have probably used the microwave or the oven which has resulted in either a soggy piece or a burnt piece. In a revelations that dates back to 2016 one Reddit user shared a diagram on the internet, showing people the the proper way to reheat pizza and well the people of the internet went straight up craxy for this genius and rather simple version that maintains the crispy crust and melts the cheese beautifully.

The diagram came from the take-out menu of Roberta’s pizzeria which is located in Brooklyn, New York and has suggested that people should use a non-stick frying pan to heat up the pizza on low to medium heat for two minutes. After two minutes, you should place two drops of water into the hot pan away from the pizza, reduce heat to low and cover the skilled for a minute or at max, a minute and a half. The result? a crispy bottom, melty cheese and a moist crust, likes it’s straight out of the box.
TODAY food tested then method themselves and after implementing the process they can confirm that the crust comes out extra crispy and delicious. The only thing that they had to change was the time with the lid on it as it wasn’t fully heated after one minute, it took. TODAY food’s team about two minutes to get the desired results.
