Trump: lashes out at Amazon because it causes damage to the tax paying retailers

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump blamed Amazon, online retailer, for “great damage” to U.S. retailers. Trump said North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was “wise” to pull back on his plan of launching missiles at Guam.

During a campaign rally in February the last year, Donald said: “If I become president, oh [does Amazon] have problems. They’re going to have such problems.” He claimed Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos, bought The Washington Post only to have “political influence” in the country.

Trump says the online retailer giant is causing job losses in the state.

In a tweet, The president slammed Amazon AMZN, +0.25%, saying it is damaging “tax paying retailers” who are causing job losses throughout the U.S. A CNN reporter reported that Trump’s tweet followed the publication of an editorial headlined “Mr. Trump gives comfort to racists” in the Washington Post, owned by Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos. The editorial concerns this response of Trump to the violence in Charlottesville, Va., which he has blamed on white supremacists and the “alt-left.”

While in Washingtonpost,  owned by Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, Trump is called to be the comfort giver of the racists in a headline on the top of the editorial published on 16th August 2017.

North Korea’s leader – says Trump- made “a very wise and well-reasoned decision” to pull back from a plan of launching a missile attack on Guam. He tweeted,

“The alternative would have been both catastrophic and unacceptable!”.

According to Trump,  Kim Jong Un was wise enough to decide not to launch a missile attack on Guam while he views that the alternative would be the most catastrophic and unacceptable by in the society.

Mnuchin refers to e-commerce giant’s “third-party” marketplace, while other firms sell goods on Amazon’s site. This compares to its “first-party” entrepreneurship, where the internet company sells products to customers, directly.

Donald declared that the “Amazon Washington Post” three times from 22 July to 24 July on Twitter. He also blasted Amazon for “not paying internet taxes” in June.

In Wednesday’s premarket session after Donald’s tweet Amazon shares fell as much as 1 percent.
