TV SHOW HOST APOLOGIZES TO SETTLE MATTERS WITH NASIR KHAN JAN

YouTube and Facebook celebrities have become a thing now and all the trending people on these platforms are invited on tv shows for the greater audience to see them and get to know them better. Among these is Nasir Khan Jan, who got famous following his videos getting viral and was then frequently contacted by tv channels to consider being a guest at their tv shows. One of which turned out to be a big dilemma.

Naya Din host, Muhammad Shoaib was tasked to interview Nasir Khan Jan, and that he did, rather poorly. There was a sense of disrespect in his questions and how he treated the guest, and this ended up making a lot of fuss on social media following which an apology was due.The host used his own platform to acknowledge his behaviour and also had Khan Jan on the line to properly apologise and admit his mistake, while commend Nasir for his response.

Addressing the audience, Shoaib said, “My questions were wrong and so was my manner and approach. That hurt the sentiments of Nasir Khan Jan, his fans and all our viewers and I apologise for that, because that was wrong.”

“I’ve learned from what happened. I understand that a guest should be respected and there is a way to ask a question. “

Nasir Khan Jan accepted his apology and commented on the matter itself, saying, “Those people who would send me horrid messages were now supporting me. Wouldn’t it have been great if we were all positive with each other like this.”

This all followed Nasir Khan Jan’s reaction to how he was treated, in his words:

“When you invite a guest on your show, please respect them. If you treat them with respect, more will happily come on your show.”

However, thankfully the matter was handled pretty well and it will be lesson for future show hosts as to the way in which they should be dealing with their guests.
