Yesterday the Chinese giant, Xiaomi launched their flagship smartphone the all new Mi 11 globally. They held a launch event for the smartphone, but that wasn’t the only highlight of the event, the Chinese manufacturer also announced the all new Mi TV Q1 75”, a pretty expensive 4K TV. The TV comes packed with some amazing smart TV features along with high-end specifications which makes the TV one of the best TVs launched by the company up till now. According to the Product Marketing Manager at Xiaomi, Emory Babb: “The TV category is definitely one of the most important within Xiaomi’s product universe, and we continue to challenge ourselves to deliver better specs and areas of innovation. Building on Mi TV’s strong momentum in China and India, we are thrilled to bring the next-gen smart TV experience to the global markets.”
The new flagship TV announced by Xiaomi, the Mi TV Q1 75” comes with a minimalistic design sporting a sleek supporting blade. The TV is surrounded razor thin bezels and the construction of the TV is anodized in aluminum for much better durability. Xiaomi have claimed that they have designed the TV such that it will help to enhance the smart TV experience to provide the user with an ultimate 4K smart TV experience. In terms of design, the new television is built on a 75-inch QLED panel which has a 178° viewing angle, a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 100% NTSC color range with 1.07 billion color variations, and 1,024 different color shades, a contrast ratio of 10,000:1, Dolby Vision®️ and 192-zone full array dynamic local dimming, to name a few features.
As far as the audio of the new TV is concerned, the Chinese giants believe that the new smart TV will give users a cinematic experience thanks to the 30W stereo speaker system which is able to make use of six speakers. Two out of the 6 speakers are tweeters while four are woofers. The Mi TV Q1 75” also carries support for Dolby AudioTM and DTS-HD. Xiaomi have also installed the Android TV 10 software which, as per the company, allows the user to access up to 700,000 movies and TV shows over 5,000 apps available on the Google Play Store. In addition to this, the Xiaomi Mi TV Q1 comes with several connectivity options (three HMDI 2.1 ports, an Ethernet port, two USB ports), a built-in digital tuner for local TV station broadcasts, and a built-in microphone for hands-free Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa commands.
