So VisionoX executive has broken the silence over Xiaomi’s development of their take on the foldablemobile phones after the executive confirmed that Xiaomi’s double-folding smartphone was a joint project between both companies and we may soon see the phone launch in the market. The executive further mentioned that the new and innovative double-folding display will be seen by the users as a breakthrough for the mobile industry in an interview today.
Now im sure somewhere along the way you probably wondered who is creating the display panel for Xiaomi‘s double-folding smartphone, sources in the industry have now confirmed that it is non other then the Chinese display makers, Visionox.

As per the information provided to us by the Chinese market research firm, All View Consulting, Visionox was the third largest AMOLED display manufacturer in the year 2018. At the end of 2018, the display manufacturer began construction of its G6 flexible AMOLED display production line in Hefei, Anhui Province of China.
Their production line is set to boost the display industry and the companyis set to make a mark of the industry and will help in improving the reputation in the region and also China’s status as a display manufacturing country.
Xiaomi is using the Visionox AMOLED panels for the development of there foldable devices
Xiaomi’s co-founder, Lin Bin, showed off the foldable prototype and he revealed that the company had to face number of technical difficulties while they were developing the new device. The phone is still under development and will be commercially available later, but as of the moment there is still now news on the date.Furthermore , if Xiaomi is in fact planning to stick with the company Visionox as the supplier for the display, it will have to wait for the new production line to be completed. Sadly, in its official press release, Visionox didn’t state the expected time of completion of the new line which will definitely determine the final date for the launch of the new device.
