Xiaomi’s new Snapdragon 870 phone on its way?

Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi is reportedly in the works for a Snapdragon 870 SoC powered phones. It is expected that these phones will make way with both Xiaomi as well as Redmi branding. The very latest information suggests that Xiaomi will soon launch its next Snapdragon 870 model in the global market.

This particular information made its way courtesy of a tipster who has claimed that the upcoming Xiaomi phone with the Snapdragon 870 chip is expected to feature with the aid of 67W fast charging. He also then added that it will make way with rather impressive cameras. Unfortunately enough though, he did not reveal the detailed information with respect to the cameras or indeed the other specs of the device.

In accordance with what the tipster’s tweet claimed, the global launch of this mysterious new phone has indeed been confirmed. He further added that the phone will eventually be launched in most countries soon as well.

There is quite the possibility also that the tipster might be talking about a Xiaomi phone which had recently been approved by TENAA and 3C authorities of China. The reason why this might be the case is that this particular model is actually expected to launch soon in China with specs such as the Snapdragon 870 instilled within as well as the aid for 67W fast charging. Hopefully though, the rumor mill will soon spill the beans as to which phone this exactly is.

Also, in related news, a new report has also gone on tip the key details with respect to the Xiaomi 12 Ultra and a variant of this particular phone happens to be called the Xiaomi 12 Ultra enhanced edition.
