The go to application for video conferencing in this time of Pandemic would probably be Zoom, the app has been able to save company’s business operational as well as educational institutions by providing a pretty good platform for holding formal meetings. Now as what seems to be a present for families who want other families to join them but can’t due to complications of the coronavirus pandemic.

Keeping that in mind Zoom has a special offer planned for the event which is to help keep everyone connected. The company have announced that on the 26th of November 26th, Zoom will lift their 40 minute limit on free meetings and as a bid to keep everyone on board on this momentous occasion, they will allow everyone to talk as long as they want to, no restrictions whatsoever.

It should be noted that, the limit will be lifted on November 26th, in the morning shall last up until the night of November 27th. Pakistanis should note that since this is a global announcement, users in Pakistan will also be able to gain the benefit from the application as will all others all around the world.

The company announced this goodwill measure on Twitter earlier this week, the company said “As a thank you to our customers, we will be lifting the 40-minute limit for all meetings globally from midnight ET on Nov. 26 through 6 a.m. ET on Nov. 27 so your family gatherings don’t get cut short”.

Moreover, the  40 minute limit on free meetings was placed throughout the pandemic and many other video conferencing competitors in the market such as Google Meet also have similar limits. Google’s video calling app, for instance, lets you have a video chat for no more than 60 minutes before the app ends your session but people, being people, are easily able to find a solution to that by simply setting up a new call. Hence, the best part of Zoom’s limited offer is that you will not have to start a new call every 40 minutes.
