In order to launch the first franchise-based Hockey League in Pakistan, the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) signed a Consultancy Agreement today.
Following an extensive selection process, PHF chose an experienced management and consulting team, including the former Managing Director and Project Director of the Pakistan Super League, Mr. Salman Sarwar Butt, and Mr. Haris Jalil Mir, former C.O.O. of PSL franchise Quetta Gladiators.
Senior officials from PHF including Olympians Manzoor Junior and Kh, Junaid who are members of the selection committee, signed the contract at the PHF HQ in Lahore.
Consulting firms will assist PHF in developing, launching, marketing, operationalizing, and running the League through an office specially set up for the purpose at PHF HQ in Lahore.
M. Asif Bajwa, secretary general of the Pakistan Hockey Federation, stressed the importance of hockey revival in Pakistan during the signing ceremony.

In light of their domestic and overseas management experience in sports franchise leagues, we are very enthusiastic about having Mr. Salman Sarwar Butt and Mr. Harris Jalil Mir as consultants on this project.
