Chinese manufacturing giant Xiaomi is currently in the works of adopting a new foldable smartphone. It has since also been claimed actually that this particular foldable phone will feature with the aid of a pop up selfie camera too.
The news actually makes its way courtesy of a patent which was indeed shared by the Chinese tech giant on Twitter. Taking a glance then at the images that had been shared on the tweet, it could be seen that the smartphone featured with the aid of two display panels. While the larger primary display actually folded inwards, the one which has the outer panels featured with the smaller secondary display. On the other hand then, the other half of the rear panel houses the main rear facing camera system – which actually comprises of three image sensors all in all.

For now though, it’s rather unclear as to what functions each sensor ends up offering. Meanwhile then, the front end up carrying no notch for the sake of the selfie camera while there also isn’t any indication over the presence of an under display selfie camera either. Rather than this then, it seems in fact that the brand might actually be attempting to review the pop-up selfie camera trend, this time though with the aid of foldable smartphones. The selfie camera is indeed situated in a pop up mechanism, which is then likely to be motorized.
