According to reports, Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC), has decided to discontinue Cultus, one of its most popular cars. Cultus is expected to be discontinued officially in the next few months, according to reports.
According to reports, Cultus sales were affected by Swift and Alto sales. Swift is being promoted more and Alto sales will be increased.
According to data from Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association, (PAMA), PSMC sold more than 9,800 Alto units in March of this year. This number fell to 5,000 in April. Sales slightly recovered to 5,400 in May.

PSMC has not yet issued an official statement on the matter. PSMC will respond once it issues an official statement.
2017 saw the launch of the new Cultus. Three variants of the hatchback were launched by PSMC: VX, VXR and VXL. Cultus is the dominant 1000cc segment in the domestic market since its launch.
Suzuki Cultus has airbags, power steering and power windows. It also features keyless entry. PSMC had to stop production of Cultus a few months ago due to a lack of airbags.
