PTCL Internet has acknowledged that its users are experiencing issues with their surfing, stating that it is having technical problems due to the extensive rains.
PTCL users are experiencing issues with their internet throughout in the nation, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has confirmed. In a post on Twitter the regulator said that PTCL has been notified of issues with “data networks that connect South and North that are creating issues with internet connectivity.”
The users of nearly the entire Internet Service Providers (ISPs) have been voicing their concerns on Twitter. While, PTA has said that it is keeping an eye on the situation and that any updates will be made available accordingly.

The hashtag #PTCL has already been trending on Twitter as users from other ISPs such as Nayatel, Zong, and Telenor in various regions complain that they’re having issues with internet browsing.
Recently, ProPakistani reported that the Telenor network is having issues because of the countrywide rains and flooding.
Due to the heavy rains and flash floods in some areas in Sindh as well as Central Punjab, optical fiber networks were damaged. In the aftermath, some of our customers could experience service disruptions that we regret deeply. The field team is working to get services back up and running as an urgent matter.
