Six Pakistan Army officials were martyred following the crash of their helicopter during a flight mission close to Khost within Balochistan’s Harnai region, according to an announcement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Monday.
The military’s media division has stated that “All six people on board including two pilots have joined shahadat.”
The officers killed in the massacre were identified as
Major Khurram Shahzad 39, was a resident of Attock. The deceased is survived by his wife, and daughter.
Major Muhammad Muneeb Afzal , 30 living in Rawalpindi. He was married to two sons.
— Sub Abdul Wahid, 44 living in the Village Sabir Abad in Karak. His wife is his only survivor and 4 children.
— Sepoy Muhammad Imran, 27 living in Makhdoompur Khanewal. He was married and had three children. Two of them were daughters and one son.
— Nk Jalil, who was 30, was a member of the crew and was a resident of Kharian, District Gujrat. His wife is still with him as are two of his sons.
— Sepoy Shoaib, 35, was a local of the district Attock. He was married with a son.

The Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed sorrow and sadness over the tragic crash of a helicopter.
“Deeply saddened by the loss of 6 military officers including two pilots in the crash of a Pakistan Army helicopter in Harnai, Balochistan,” he tweeted.
“The entire country is in mourning with families who have lost loved ones,” he added.
In the month of March the Pakistan Army aviation helicopter -that was involved in flood relief operations located in the Balochistan region of Lasbela — went in the wrong direction and the remains of the aircraft had been located in a coastal area of Balochistan.
The six police officers and crew members on board survived the crash.
