Banks usually remain operating late into the late at night on the date of filing returns to ensure the collection of taxes. There isn’t any announcement regarding extended working hours at banks or FBR’s field forms on September 30th 2022. This is an obvious sign of an extension possible in the period of filing income tax returns for a one month.
Nearly all trade associations, business associations and chambers, as well as associations have been in contact with the FBR to request an extension of the tax return filing process for a minimum of one month.
