In a ceremony held yesterday in Suzhou, Nreal, a company that specializes in AR technology, launched its 100,000th Nreal Air AR glasses, which marks the company’s first 100,000 units of mass production of consumer-grade AR glasses.

In 2022, Nreal shipped over 70,000 units in the fourth quarter of the year, following the launch in the Chinese, Japanese, and US markets.

This time around, Nreal’s second-generation product, the Nreal Air AR glasses, have been mass produced in large numbers at 100,000 units. In addition to a spatial retina-level display, the AR Sharp Color Sky, 130-inch aerial projection screen, and 201-inch AR sharp color sky screen, all of which are compatible with mobile phones, tablets, notebooks, and palms. The smart car can be connected to a variety of devices such as a computer, a game console, and even a smart phone.

In addition to launching a space interactive system, Nreal also developed and customized a number of AR content platforms in collaboration with companies such as iQiyi, China Mobile Migu, Nio and Kuaishou.

The lenses of the Nreal Air AR glasses display a resolution of 3840 x 1080, a MTF of >0.7, and a PPD of 49 when it comes to the display effects. As a result, Nreal Air has a high contrast ratio of 100,000:1, a wide color gamut of 108% sRGB, and an eye-catching brightness of up to 400nits, combined with an ultra-high contrast ratio of 100,000:1.

In addition to China, Nreal has entered the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, South Korea and other countries/markets throughout the world.
