Pakistanis are increasingly using data services due to the increasing penetration of broadband services. Moreover, mobile phone companies offer different packages on a daily to monthly basis that contribute to the growth in data consumption related to high-speed internet.

WhatsApp, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms consume a large amount of data.

The number of social media users in Pakistan has also increased significantly in recent years. According to estimates, there are approximately 70 million active users of social media platforms on different platforms today.
