The Realme GT 3 is about to be launched on the global market by Realme. A new high-end smartphone will be announced by the company later this month at the MWC 2023 event in Barcelona. So here’s a roundup of everything we know about this device.
Design & Display
The Realme GT 3 is not exactly a high-end smartphone, but it still boasts some impressive specs and design features. In case you weren’t aware, the GT 3 model is basically a rebranded version of the GT Neo 5, so they are identical except for the name. It has a large image sensor island and a transparent panel at the rear.
Transparent panel that showcases the high end chipset that powers this device, along with an LED lighting strip. A RGB LED can produce 25 different colors and is RGB enabled. A tall 6.74-inch OLED display, 1.07 billion colors, a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and a 2772 x 1240px resolution decorate the front of the device. A punch hole selfie camera is also located in the center of the device.

Specs
Realme GT 3’s design and hardware make it a flagship device. There are many ultra high-end smartphones currently available on the market that are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoCs (Ex: Samsung Galaxy S23 series), usually half a generation behind the next generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chips. As for internal storage, this chipset is likely to support up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 and up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM.
Furthermore, the GT 3 will also be available in two charging variants as the GT Neo 5. There is no doubt that fast charging is one of the phone’s highlights features. There will be two fast charging variants for the smartphone, one of which supports 150W and the other of which supports 240W. Battery capacity is 5,000mAh for the former, while 4,600mAh will be found in the latter. While the 240W variant will take around 80 seconds to charge a GT 3 battery from 1 percent to 20 percent
On the back of the Realme GT 3, there are three cameras. A 50 megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor supports OIS, as does an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens (Sony IMX355), and a 2 megapixel macro sensor. A 16-megapixel selfie camera is located on the front.
The launch date, the expected price, and the colors of the device
Black, white, and purple were the three color options offered by Chinese smartphone maker GT Neo 5. The same options are likely to return to the global market as well. It is likely that the 150W version would start at about 370 US Dollars for its 8GB+256GB configuration if the company actually launches two variants. In contrast, the 16GB+256GB variant of the 240W starts at around 470 USD. Mobile World Congress 2023 is set to announce the Realme GT 3 on February 28. So keep an eye out for more updates.
