Vivo has officially launched the Vivo V30, signaling its global rollout across various international markets. This smartphone comes equipped with impressive features, notably boasting a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and a robust battery capacity. While sharing a physical design with the Vivo S18, the V30 sets itself apart with a significant camera upgrade.

Display: The Vivo V30 sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels. It offers a remarkable peak brightness of 2,800 nits and supports a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the display is HDR10+ certified and incorporates a fingerprint sensor underneath the screen.

Internals and Software: Under the hood, the Vivo V30 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, fabricated using the 4 nm process. This chipset features an octa-core CPU with a clock speed of up to 2.63 GHz and an Adreno 720 GPU. The phone comes in four configurations, offering variations in RAM and internal storage, ranging from 8 GB/128 GB to 12 GB/512 GB. It runs on the latest Android 14 operating system with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 14 skin on top, promising software support for at least 4 years.

Cameras:

The Vivo V30 stands out as the first global smartphone to feature the 50MP Omni Vision OV50E sensor, significantly advancing mobile photography. This sensor serves as the main camera, boasting a large size of 1/1.55 inches. Accompanying it is another 50MP sensor with autofocus for the ultra-wide-angle lens, ensuring high-quality wide-angle shots. Even the front camera impresses with a formidable 50 MP sensor, also equipped with autofocus for exceptional selfie quality.

Battery and Pricing:

The Vivo V30 introduces a notable improvement with its larger 5,000 mAh battery, compatible with 80W Flash Charge technology. Despite the enhanced battery capacity, the phone maintains a slim profile, measuring just 7.5 mm thin at its base. Pricing and availability details are yet to be announced, but the phone will be offered in color options including Bloom White, Waving Aqua, Lush Green, and Noble Black, each featuring a distinct pattern on the back.
