Samsung latest software update for Galaxy S24 smartphones brings more than just AI features. The Korean tech giant is enhancing the calling experience with the introduction of Wi-Fi call recording in One UI 6.1.
This feature is exclusive to VoWiFi mode, which stands for Voice over Wi-Fi. With this update, Galaxy S24 and select other Galaxy phones can now record calls in VoWiFi mode, which proves useful for recalling important details from lengthy conversations.
Voice-over Wi-Fi allows users to make calls directly over Wi-Fi without relying on cellular networks, beneficial for areas with poor signal coverage.

To activate VoWiFi recording in the latest One UI 6.1 update, navigate to the phone’s settings menu, select Calls, then tap on Other Call Settings and enable the VoWiFi call recording feature.
It’s crucial to note that recording someone’s voice without consent raises ethical concerns and can have legal consequences in many jurisdictions. Thus, it’s advisable to exercise caution and refrain from using such features without careful consideration.
Ensure your phone is updated to the latest One UI version to access this feature.
