Realme India has officially announced the upcoming launch of the Narzo 70 Pro 5G in India, with a revealed timeline. The company has created a dedicated microsite on its website, as well as on Amazon, providing some key insights into the phone. Set to succeed the Realme Narzo 60 Pro 5G, the Narzo 70 Pro 5G is scheduled to debut in India in March 2024, although the exact date remains undisclosed.
The microsite showcases a distinct large circular module housing triple camera sensors and an LED flash. Notably, the circular module bears an engraving indicating the presence of OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). Realme has confirmed that the Narzo 70 Pro 5G will feature a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor, measuring 1/1.56″, akin to the one found in the Realme 12 Pro+. This sensor is touted to deliver remarkable image quality even under low-light conditions. In contrast, its predecessor, the Realme Narzo 60 Pro 5G, boasted a 100MP Omnivision sensor.
Realme promises an enhanced software experience, superior photography capabilities, and improved specifications compared to other devices in its class. While the microsite currently provides limited details, it is expected to be updated with more comprehensive information in the coming days. Speculations suggest that the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G might undergo changes, possibly reintroducing the Realme 12 Pro+ under its moniker in the Indian market. Notably, one noticeable alteration from the teaser images is the absence of a telephoto lens, previously present in the Realme 12 Pro lineup. This omission is anticipated to contribute to a more competitive pricing strategy for the Narzo phone.
