Xiaomi unveiled its latest flagship offering, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, in China on Thursday, ahead of its global debut at MWC 2024 on Sunday. This successor to the Xiaomi 13 Ultra boasts impressive features including Leica cameras, a 2K OLED display, IP68 dust and water resistance, and support for 80W wireless charging.
In terms of pricing, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra starts at RMB 6,499 (approximately Rs 74,900) for the 12GB + 256GB variant, RMB 6,999 (around Rs 80,700) for the 16GB + 512GB model, and RMB 7,799 (approx Rs 89,900) for the 16GB + 1TB version. Additionally, there’s a premium Titanium model priced at RMB 8,799 (around Rs 1,03,300) for the 16GB + 1TB storage configuration. Sales in China will commence on February 27th, with the Titanium model available from March 3rd. Color options include Black, White, and Blue.
Key highlights of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra include the upgraded Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor for enhanced performance compared to its predecessor. The device retains the 6.7-inch QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and the distinctive leather back panel design. Notably, the battery capacity has been increased to 5300mAh, offering prolonged usage.
Continuing its collaboration with Leica, Xiaomi integrates a Sony LYT900 main sensor in the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, promising improved image quality with enhanced details and vibrant colors, particularly in low-light conditions. The introduction of a photography suit attachment enhances camera functionality, featuring a 1,500mAh battery and a wave wheel for adjusting camera settings conveniently.

A noteworthy addition is the incorporation of satellite communication, enabling emergency communication via satellite in areas with no mobile network coverage. Moreover, Xiaomi introduces a signal amplifier to enhance connectivity in areas with poor signal reception, safeguarding both communication and camera functionality.
Accessories such as the 80W wireless charger and the Xiaomi professional photography package complement the flagship device, offering users a comprehensive and versatile experience.
