Samsung is reportedly in the development phase of a Galaxy Watch FE, hinting at a potential 2024 model that could mark a significant emphasis on the “FE” edition of its devices. Recent speculations are fueled by murmurs not only of a Galaxy Z Fold FE and Galaxy Z Flip FE but also of the introduction of the S24 FE.
According to reports, the Galaxy Watch FE is expected to feature specifications closely resembling those of the 2021 Galaxy Watch4. Initially, there were rumors of a Galaxy Watch4 (2024) model, but it seems plans have shifted, with the device likely to emerge as the Galaxy Watch FE.

The Galaxy Watch FE is anticipated to have a global release, with model numbers SM-R866F, SM-R866U, and SM-R866N designated for different regions. While detailed specifications are yet to be revealed, it is expected that the device will align closely with the features of the Galaxy Watch4. Furthermore, it is projected to enter the market at a price point lower than the upcoming Galaxy Watch 7 series. This positioning mirrors Apple’s strategy with the Apple Watch SE, offering a more budget-friendly alternative to broaden the consumer base for wearable technology.
Though the launch date for the rumored Galaxy Watch FE remains uncertain, the more affordable foldable models are expected to debut a few months after July. The regular Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 are likely to be unveiled in July during the next Galaxy Unpacked event.
