On the occasion of World Press Freedom Day, UNESCO has recognized the extraordinary bravery of Palestinian journalists covering Israel’s actions in Gaza by awarding them the “World Press Freedom Award.”
Despite facing grave dangers, these journalists have steadfastly reported on the Gaza conflict over the past six months. The UNESCO/Guillermo Cano World Press Freedom Prize honors their exceptional commitment to documenting Israel’s activities in Palestinian territories.
