Karachi Commissioner Hassan Naqvi has issued new price regulations for roti and naan in the city, with strict enforcement measures against violations.

In an official notification released on Thursday, it was announced that the price of a 120-gram naan has been fixed at Rs17.

Similarly, the price of a 100-gram chapati (roti) has been set at Rs12. Commissioner Naqvi has mandated all tandoors to conspicuously display this price list to ensure transparency.

He has warned of severe consequences for any individuals or establishments found breaching these set prices. This initiative aims to standardize and oversee the prices of these essential food items, promoting affordability and equitable practices throughout Karachi.
