Huawei is gearing up to launch its new foldable phone, the nova Flip. The company teased the device in a video on its Weibo channel, featuring a member of the TFBoys music band displaying the clamshell phone in a striking Lime green color.

The nova Flip will feature a square cover display next to the camera island. While the screen is relatively small by current standards, it is larger than those on previous Huawei Pocket foldables. The teaser video cleverly uses a series of clicks and clacks to spell out the word “Flip” in Morse code. The nova Flip will come with two rear cameras, a front-facing camera inside a punch-hole on the inner panel, and a flat power key that doubles as a fingerprint scanner.

Huawei is expected to officially unveil the nova Flip next week at an event in China on August 6. Alongside the new phone, the company might also introduce the Matebook GT laptop, MatePad Pro 12.2 and MatePad Air 2024 tablets, and the Printer X1 Max.
