The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) is gearing up for a leadership transition with the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, set to take on the presidency of the regional cricket governing body. Naqvi’s term as ACC President will begin in January 2025 and span two years.
Naqvi’s upcoming presidency marks a significant moment for Pakistan’s influence in regional cricket administration. The current ACC President, Jay Shah, who is also the Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), was granted a one-year extension earlier this year, facilitating a smooth transition for Naqvi.

An official announcement about Naqvi’s presidency is expected during the next ACC meeting, scheduled for October-November.
