The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has halted any action against National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) Director General Zulfikar Ahmed regarding the non-confirmation of his degree.

The case was heard by IHC Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani. The Higher Education Commission (HEC) had blacklisted Ahmed’s degree verification account, prompting NADRA to place him in a pool due to the unverified degree status.

The court has suspended this order, preventing any actions against Ahmed. Justice Kayani noted that the failure to confirm Ahmed’s degree might be due to an oversight or deliberate omission by someone.
