The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE has been extensively leaked, revealing its design and specifications ahead of its official launch. The design remains consistent with the rest of the Galaxy S24 series, offering a familiar look rather than introducing any major changes. However, Samsung has upgraded the display size for this FE model, moving from the 6.4-inch screen of the Galaxy S23 FE to a larger 6.7-inch display.

In addition to the increased size, the display’s brightness has also been enhanced, jumping from 1450 nits to an impressive 1900 nits, while maintaining the same 120Hz refresh rate. Despite the larger screen, the battery upgrade is modest, with the S24 FE featuring a 4565mAh battery, only slightly bigger than the 4500mAh battery in the S23 FE. Battery life is estimated to deliver around 29 hours of video playback and 78 hours of audio playback, though real-world performance will ultimately dictate endurance.

Under the hood, the Galaxy S24 FE is expected to be powered by the Exynos 2400e chipset, a variant of Samsung’s flagship processor. As a 2024 release, the phone will include various AI-driven features such as Portrait Studio, Circle to Search, and Generative Edit, enhancing user experience.

The camera setup is familiar, with a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom. Samsung has been improving its camera processing, and the S24 FE’s photographic performance will be a key factor in its appeal.

Pricing details for the Galaxy S24 FE haven’t been disclosed yet. However, given the upgrades in display and chipset, a price increase from the Galaxy S23 FE’s $599 starting point is likely.
