Pakistan clinched third place in the Asian Hockey Trophy by defeating Korea 5-2, showcasing a spirited performance led by Ammat Butt. Hannan Shahid and Sufian were instrumental in the victory, each scoring twice, while Roman added a fifth goal to secure the win. Despite Korea’s dominant first-half performance, which saw them take an early lead and pressure Pakistan heavily, the Green Shirts turned the tide after a shaky start. Goalkeeper Abdullah conceded an early goal, but Pakistan made a strong comeback, netting three goals in the third quarter to regain control.
