Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting with Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and a delegation from Jamaat-e-Islami, led by Emeer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, at the Prime Minister’s House on Friday.

The political parties united in expressing solidarity with Gaza and the Palestinian people. They agreed to observe a “Day of Solidarity with Palestine” nationwide on October 7 to denounce the brutalities inflicted on innocent Palestinian men, women, and children by Israel.

On this day, various gatherings and seminars will be organized across the country to show support for the Palestinian community and to protest against the ongoing Israeli aggression.

The meeting participants committed to amplifying their voices against the oppression of innocent individuals in Gaza and Palestine and pledged to stand by their Palestinian brothers and sisters.

Additionally, an All Parties Conference will be convened by the Prime Minister to discuss the situation further.

A committee was established to organize the Day of Solidarity with Palestine and the All Parties Conference. This committee will include Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Sherry Rehman, Khawaja Saad Rafique, and Nayyar Bukhari.

Both President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will attend the All Parties Conference. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed full support for the Day of Solidarity, condemning the ongoing oppression faced by innocent Muslims in Palestine and Gaza.

The meeting also commended Jamaat-e-Islami’s strong stance in solidarity with the innocent Palestinians.
