Realme has officially launched the P3 series in India, introducing two models – the Realme P3 Pro and Realme P3x. These smartphones come with IP68/IP69 ratings for protection against dust and high-pressure water jets and feature large 6,000mAh batteries for extended usage.
While both devices share some similarities, they differ in display technology, processing power, and charging speeds. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the Realme P3 series, including design, specifications, camera setup, and pricing.
Design & Display
The Realme P3 Pro features a 6.83-inch OLED display with an FHD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate. It supports a peak brightness of 1,500 nits and has an optical fingerprint scanner embedded in the display. The quad-curved edges contribute to a slim profile, though they may impact durability.
The Realme P3x, on the other hand, has a 6.72-inch IPS LCD panel with the same FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, but a lower peak brightness of 950 nits. Unlike the P3 Pro, it features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button.
Both devices boast IP68/IP69 ratings, ensuring protection from dust and high-pressure water but not full waterproofing.
Color Variants:
- Realme P3 Pro: Nebula Glow, Galaxy Purple, Saturn Brown
- Realme P3x: Lunar Silver, Midnight Blue, Stellar Pink
Performance & Software
The Realme P3 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset (4nm), featuring an octa-core CPU (4x Cortex-A78 @ 2.4GHz + 4x Cortex-A55 @ 1.95GHz) and an Adreno 710 GPU for enhanced graphics. It comes in 8GB or 12GB LPDDR4X RAM configurations with 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, but lacks microSD expansion.

The Realme P3x is the first phone to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, with an octa-core CPU (2x Cortex-A76 + 6x Cortex-A55) and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It offers 6GB or 8GB RAM options with 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, which is slower than the P3 Pro’s UFS 3.1.
Both devices run Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15, bringing performance optimizations and new customization features. However, Realme’s long-term software update policies remain unclear.
Camera Setup
The Realme P3 Pro sports a dual-camera system featuring a 50MP Sony IMX896 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 2MP depth sensor. The 16MP front camera is housed inside a hole-punch cutout.
The Realme P3x has a 50MP OmniVision OV50D sensor, which lacks OIS, along with a 2MP depth sensor. The 16MP front camera is the same as the P3 Pro.
Both smartphones support 4K video recording at 30fps and 1080p at 60fps, but neither model includes 4K at 60fps, a feature found in premium devices.
Battery & Charging
One of the biggest highlights of the Realme P3 series is its 6,000mAh battery for long-lasting performance.
- Realme P3 Pro: Supports 80W wired charging with bypass charging support, allowing users to operate the device while charging without overheating the battery.
- Realme P3x: Supports 45W wired charging, along with 5W reverse wired charging.
