Samsung has left many users frustrated with the slow One UI 7 rollout. Despite launching the beta program for the Galaxy S24 series in December 2024, the company has yet to provide an official release date for the stable version. What Can Users Expect After Android 15?
While Android 15 will be the last major OS update for these devices, they will continue receiving:
✔ Incremental One UI updates (such as One UI 7.1)
✔ Security patches for an extended period
Should You Upgrade Your Device?
If your device is on this list, there’s no immediate rush to upgrade. The One UI 7 rollout will take the first half of 2025 to complete. Additionally, One UI 7.1 may still be released, though delays could lead to its cancellation.
Samsung’s Track Record of Extended Updates
In some cases, Samsung has provided an extra OS update beyond its standard policy. If the company decides to extend support, your device may receive Android 16. However, there’s no official confirmation yet.
