FIA Intensifies Crackdown on Human Smuggling

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Lahore Zone has ramped up its efforts against human smugglers, leading to:

  • The arrest of 10 individuals attempting to travel with forged documents
  • The detention of 35 individuals involved in begging activities

All suspects have been handed over to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Lahore for further investigation.

FIA Foils Escape of 12 High-Profile Fugitives

In a separate operation, FIA Lahore successfully stopped 12 fugitives wanted by Punjab Police for serious crimes from escaping the country.

Zero-Tolerance Policy Against Human Smuggling

FIA Lahore Zone Director Sarfaraz Khan Virk emphasized that passenger travel records are being closely monitored as part of the agency’s zero-tolerance approach towards human trafficking and illegal travel.
