The Punjab government has officially launched the Chief Minister Laptop Program 2025, an initiative aimed at providing high-performance laptops to deserving students in public sector universities and colleges. Under this scheme, 110,000 students will receive 13th-generation Core i7 laptops to support their education and research.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, students must meet the following criteria:
✔ Punjab Domicile: Applicants must be residents of Punjab.
✔ Enrollment: Must be in 1st or 2nd semester of a BS program at a public university or college.
✔ Medical & Dental Students: Those in their first professional academic year (2024) in public institutions can apply.
✔ Academic Performance:
- BS students must have scored at least 65% in their intermediate exams.
- Medical & dental students must have achieved at least 80% in intermediate.
✔ No Previous Laptop Benefits: Students who have already received a laptop under any previous government scheme are not eligible.
How to Apply?
Students can apply online by following these steps:
1️⃣ Visit the Punjab Higher Education website.
2️⃣ Click on the “CM Laptop Program” section.
3️⃣ Select the “Apply Now” option.
4️⃣ Fill out the registration form with:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card)
- Password (set & confirm)
- Captcha verification
5️⃣ Submit the form to create an account.
6️⃣ Log in and complete your submission for the laptop program.
