Official Discontinuation of Popular Hatchback

Pak Suzuki has officially stopped accepting new bookings for its Wagon R hatchback, marking the end of its availability in Pakistan. After previously discontinuing the top variant, the company has now ceased bookings for all versions of the car.

Wagon R Bookings Suspended from March 11, 2025

In a notice sent to dealerships, Pak Suzuki announced that Wagon R bookings would be suspended starting March 11, 2025. Dealers were instructed to notify sales teams and potential customers about this decision.

The Wagon R was first introduced in Pakistan in 2014 and quickly gained popularity, especially among ride-hailing drivers, due to its spacious interior and fuel efficiency. Initially launched in three variants—VX, VXR, and VXL, the base model was later discontinued. In 2020, an AGS variant with automatic transmission and enhanced safety features was introduced.

Is a New Model Coming Soon?

The decision to halt bookings has led to speculation about a potential replacement model. However, a Pak Suzuki representative clarified that no immediate replacement is planned, stating that a new model may arrive in two to three years.

With declining sales over time, the discontinuation of the Wagon R marks the end of an era for one of Pakistan’s most recognizable hatchbacks.
