The first-ever trophy tour of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) continued as the prestigious Luminara trophy arrived in Lahore on Sunday, making a special appearance at the National Hockey Stadium.
Trophy Unveiling at Khawaja Junaid Hockey Academy
A ceremony was held at the Khawaja Junaid Hockey Academy, where the PSL trophy was unveiled in the presence of PSL management representatives. Head of the academy, Olympian Khawaja Junaid, along with dozens of young hockey players, attended the event.
To mark the occasion, a celebratory cake was cut, and young athletes had the opportunity to take pictures with the coveted PSL trophy.

Khawaja Junaid Announces Hockey League Inspired by PSL
During the ceremony, Khawaja Junaid praised the PSL for its success and revealed plans to launch a hockey league on similar lines.
“The PSL is a massive brand, and it’s an honor for its trophy to visit our academy. A hockey league, similar to PSL, will be launched soon. This league will benefit Pakistan’s national game,” Junaid stated.
PSL 10 Trophy Tour Details
The Luminara trophy tour began in Hyderabad and Karachi on March 14 and will cover 11 major cities across Pakistan until March 29.
Following Lahore, the trophy will visit:
- March 18 – Multan
- March 19 – Bahawalpur
- March 20 – Faisalabad
- March 22 – Peshawar
- March 23 – Islamabad (final stop of the first leg)
The historic tour aims to promote cricket enthusiasm nationwide, allowing fans from different cities to witness the glittering PSL trophy up close.
