The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Mirpurkhas has postponed the upcoming intermediate exams due to widespread road closures that have disrupted transportation and access throughout the region.
Originally scheduled to begin on April 28, the exams will now commence on May 5, as confirmed by Controller of Examinations Anwar Aleem Khanzada. He stated that a revised timetable will be issued shortly to reflect the updated schedule.

The postponement is the result of significant logistical issues, as blocked roads have made it challenging for both students and examination staff to safely reach their respective centers.
BISE Mirpurkhas has been facing persistent difficulties, including financial strain and administrative challenges, which have already hampered its examination operations. Additionally, the board previously failed to conduct supplementary exams, causing growing concern among students over academic delays.
This latest postponement is expected to further impact result announcements and may complicate university admissions for many students.
