The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has launched a new temporary mobile registration system designed specifically for overseas Pakistanis and foreign visitors coming to Pakistan.

This system allows travelers to easily register their personal mobile devices for use in Pakistan without facing any service issues. Once registered, mobile phones can be used for up to 120 days during each visit.

The initiative aims to ensure uninterrupted connectivity for tourists, business travelers, and returning Pakistanis. Access to mobile services is crucial for navigation, communication with loved ones, emergencies, and overall convenience during travel.

According to a statement by PTA, the process is completely free and conducted online, eliminating the need to visit offices or stand in queues. The system is designed to be user-friendly, ensuring a seamless experience for all.
