Just months after the launch of the Moto G 2025 and Moto G Power 2025, fresh leaks have surfaced showcasing Motorola’s upcoming budget contenders: the Moto G 2026 and Moto G Power 2026. The leaked renders suggest the new models will retain a design language similar to their predecessors, while introducing subtle upgrades and vibrant Pantone-inspired finishes.

Both devices are rumored to feature large 6.7 to 6.8-inch displays and triple-camera setups. The headline feature is a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens. The third camera cutout is likely reserved for an ambient light sensor, maintaining a three-lens aesthetic.

The Moto G 2026 (model XT2613-1) is shown in a premium vegan leather back with Pantone 2376C—a soft slate-blue tone. Meanwhile, the Moto G Power 2026 (XT2615-1) goes for a plastic back in Pantone 431C, offering a more rugged, utilitarian feel. The Power model appears thicker, potentially housing a hefty 5,000mAh battery like its predecessor.

Under the hood, both phones are expected to ship with Android 16 and may be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset—a slight upgrade over the Dimensity 6300 used in the 2025 models. Previous versions launched with Android 15 and promised two major OS updates, a trend Motorola may continue.

There’s no confirmed launch date yet, but a reveal in January 2026—shortly after CES—seems likely. U.S. pricing is expected to remain competitive, with the Moto G 2026 possibly priced around $199 and the G Power 2026 at $299. A December 2025 release in India and other markets is also being considered, consistent with Motorola’s global release pattern.

Both models are tipped to offer IP68 water and dust resistance, along with 30W fast charging. While the updates may seem incremental, the combination of software, battery life, and refreshed design could be enough to maintain Motorola’s dominance in the budget segment. More details are expected in the coming weeks as additional leaks emerge.
