Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has introduced the Asaan Karobar Card, a transformative initiative aimed at empowering small-scale business owners, street vendors, and low-income entrepreneurs. The card will provide interest-free financial support, promote self-employment, and strengthen local businesses across the province.

Key Features of the Program

  • Interest-free business loans of up to Rs. 500,000

  • Free business training and skill development workshops

  • Flexible repayment options through the Bank of Punjab (BOP)

  • Integration with the Punjab Rozgar Program

Who Can Apply?

This initiative is particularly designed for individuals who lack access to traditional banking or loan systems, including street vendors and small business owners with limited resources.

Documents Required

  • Original CNIC

  • Proof of business (optional for informal vendors)

  • Utility bill or proof of residence

  • Mobile number registered with CNIC

Loan Disbursement and Repayment

Once your application is approved, the following steps will be followed:

  • Funds are disbursed through the Bank of Punjab.

  • A 3-month grace period is provided before repayment starts.

  • No interest will be charged, and the repayment period extends up to 2 years.

  • Applicants will receive SMS updates and can track their loan status through the online portal.
