Tensions between Pakistan and India have escalated further after a reported drone attack in Karachi’s Malir area, following similar incidents in Lahore and Dharki. SSP Malir confirmed that an explosion occurred in the Sharafi Goth locality.
Sources reported hearing a loud blast, and a device resembling an engine was found in the area. Police have launched an investigation, and further details are expected soon.
Earlier, Pakistan Army tanks and armored vehicles were deployed across major roads in Lahore as a precaution, reflecting the seriousness of the current security situation.

Meanwhile, another explosion was reported in Lahore’s Burki area on Thursday, shortly after a similar incident on Walton Road. Though no casualties have been reported, national media described the explosions as loud and widespread.
India’s unprovoked cross-border aggression continues to raise concerns of broader conflict.
